This client came to us from Portland, Oregon, where his Tesla Model S had been originally wrapped by PDX Wraps in a unique teal color. The PDX team there does awesome work. The original 1080 film had a shimmer effect that made it shine in certain lights. Talk about unique!
After relocating to the Spokane area, the vehicle was involved in a minor accident that left the car (and therefore the wrap) damaged on the driver’s side. Rather than re-wrap the entire vehicle, the client came to us seeking a wrap to precisely match the rest of the car.
The problem we ran into was that 3m didn’t make the 1080 film anymore, but we still wanted to ensure an exact color match. We quickly found out that Caribbean Shimmer 2080 series matched his current wrap which was 3m film 1080 series. We wrapped the driver-side door, the driver-side rear door, the rear corner panel, and the bumper. Within a few days, this Tesla was back to its former glory!
